Would love to stay here again if we visit Syracuse. Fantastic experience.

Exceptional service. Tasteful decor, very welcoming, professional and extremely helpful staff. They made us feel at home. No request was any trouble for them. Roberto,Luca, Andrew and Drobi looked after us very well. Breakfast was superb and had good choice of food. Great location. Highly recommended.

Wonderful

Great location in the heart of Ortigia. Lovely facility in a historical building but recently renovated, very comfortable bed, large and beautiful room. Staff very kind and helpful.

The building is in a pedestrian street and hence a bit tricky to reach. We used the hotel parking with vallet service but you need to communicate 1h in advance you need the car + slightly expensive

Wonderful service from all staff. Upgraded our room and ready to check in at 2.30pm. Beautiful large room with balcony. Every attention to detail. Fantastic location in the centre of Ortigia. Loved our stay here.

great place

Splendid and comfortable hotel, great quality of sleep, located in the centre of Ortiga, perfect for walking around in any direction.

If by car, please study the road carefully upfront, especially last two kilometres. Any sort of navigation is confusing and circling on narrow streets among pedestrians is a terrible experience.

Refuge in ortiga

Location was great for sights, restaurants and ease of walking around ortiga. Staff helpful. Outside terrace and reception modern and comfortable. Breakfast was good. There is a calmness about the hotel that made it very comfortable. They work with a taxi driver who is excellent and helpful.

There were two small lights on the wall (one was the air-conditioning monitor) that were lit up and in my line of sight that affected my sleep. No doubt when this room is refurbished (we had a standard room on third floor) it will be addressed but otherwise room was clean, constable, spacious and had wonderful balcony with view along to the Duomo. I would stay here again

Excellent location, beautiful hotel, lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.

Luxurious breakfasts. Room quiet despite being on main square. Loved the location in the heart of Ortigia, and easy walk to everything.

Carpets in hallways were really dirty. A small thing like that should be taken care of as it detracts from the otherwise beautiful setting. It was nearly impossible to reach the hotel by car. The hotel should suggest a place for visitors with cars to park, and pick them up from the car park.

The hotel is open cater in the heart of Ortigia. The hotel is tastefully decorated, very well taken care of, staff is very helpful and provide excellent service, breakfast is included and was absolutely wonderful. Our stay was absolutely exquisite.

Best decision to have chosen Roma Hotel for my stay in Ortigia

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel for 5 nights. The location of the hotel was second to none, a few steps from piazza del Duomo. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The cleaning staff did fabulous job and were very accomodating. The breakfast was superb. I had a rental car and used their valet service to park and retrieve the car. Every single staff member was curteous and pleasant. Had dinner at the restaurant one evening and had a fantastic meal. The chef is exceptional.

That I had to leave.

The location was the best. The staff was excellent. The rooms were large and comfortable, breakfast was lovely.

Great staff and location in Ortigia

Staff were excellent. They noticed it was my wife’s birthday and put some treats in our room.

Slow elevator. The second floor carpet from the elevator presented as dirty. No doubt it was vacuumed regularly but it doesn’t look good at all. The rest of the hotel (that we saw) and our room was very well kept up.

Lovely stay in the centre of Ortigia

Great location, in the center of Ortigia, next to the Duomo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered lots of choices including eggs, local pastries and yoghurts.
